So this week I took time out and ready a fairly new book. It’s by marketing guru (I hate using that word, but in this case it is justified) Jim Cockrum.
It’s a really easy read and the book has some great ideas in there. I actually came away with a fair few more ideas than the book offered as it gets your mind thinking in other directions than you would normally start on.
So you own a restaurant. Like many business owners you probably want to make the most profit you can with a compromise on quality of service or food. With more and more competition for your customers attention there are a few things you can do to get the edge.
Knowing how your customers think will help you make those profit margins look a little healthier. There are a few small changes you can make today which will start making a difference.
So what do you need to know about setting up a business online? A key element for a good online presence is having a website which has been designed and created correctly from the outset. This will save you a great deal of time and money in the long run by just understanding the key elements of a good customer experience.
So what are they?
People just don’t want to know all about your special offers at once. They don’t want to see every product or service that you offer. As long as you make the site easy to use and well structured then people will be able to find what they are looking for. This will keep the bounce rate of disgruntled visitors down.
